For additional information, and/or to inquire about enrolling into the iSierra Online Academy's Independent Study Program please follow the steps below.

Please note: Despite references to working in the lab, all appointments are virtual, through Zoom, and all work will be completed at home (or wherever the student has an internet connection).

For additional information or to move forward with a request to enroll:

  •  Please contact your school site counselor.  To facilitate the discussion, we have the following programs for students.

    • iSierra Full-time (Independent Study):  
      • Student disenrolls from their comprehensive high school and enrolls at La Sierra High School - ALL courses will be taken online through the iSierra Online Academy.
    • iSierra Blended:  
      • Students disenroll from their comprehensive high school and enroll at La Sierra High School.  3-4 courses will be taken online through the iSierra Online Academy, and 2-3 courses will be taken in-person at a comprehensive high school in the district.
    • iSierra Reverse Blended:
      • Students stay enrolled at their comprehensive high school and take 1-2 classes online through the iSierra Online Academy as part of their 6 period day. Their remaining classes are taken in-person at their comprehensive high school.
    • Comprehensive Blended:
      • Students stay enrolled at their comprehensive high school and take a 7th or 8th period online course through the iSierra Online Academy.

  • Please contact Assistant Principal, Renee Gates at 714-447-5503/rgates@fjuhsd.org. Please be aware that students residing outside the FJUHSD attendance area will need an Interdistrict Transfer Form.

    To facilitate the discussion, we have the following programs for students.

      • Students are enrolled full-time at La Sierra High School - ALL courses will be taken online through the iSierra Online Academy.
    • iSierra Blended:  
      • Students are enrolled full-time at La Sierra High School.  3-4 courses will be taken online through the iSierra Online Academy, and 2-3 courses will be taken in-person at an FJUHSD comprehensive high school.
    • iSierra Reverse Blended:
      • Students are enrolled full-time at their FJUHSD comprehensive high school.  1-2 classes are taken online through the iSierra Online Academy as part of their 6 period day. Their remaining classes are taken in-person at their comprehensive high school.
